"Of Sea & Shore" Museum at PGGS
When you visit Port Gamble General Store &
Café, don't forget to visit the Shell & Sealife Museum on the 2nd Floor overlooking the General Store.
Collected and curated by Tom Rice, a native and former long-time resident of Port Gamble, the museum is the second largest, privately owned shell museum in the world. The largest is located in Phuket, Thailand, where Tom now resides!
Port Gamble General Store has the unique privilege of watching over the museum while our Curator enjoys life in Thailand.
Don't miss our great, fascinating museum and bring the kids. They will love it!
Oh, by the way, it's free.
